Zachariah Hall, eldest son of Charles Wesley and Sarah Ann Hall, was born October 12, 1868, near Cainsville, Mo., and departed this life September 26, 1945, at Decatur County Hospital at the age of 76 years, 11 months, and 14 days.
On July 1, 1894, he was united in marriage with Rose Belle Blakesley at Cainsville, Mo. To this union were born three children, Lois Olive, Donald Cecil, and Chester D.
When a young man he was converted to the Methodist faith and held to that faith until his death.
In 1901 he moved with his family to a homestead near May. Okla. where he resided until 1917 when he moved to Springfield, Colo. In the spring of 1923, he became a resident of Lamoni, Iowa where he remained until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.
Zack leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted wife, Mrs. Rose Hall, a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Lupton, of Springfield, Colo., 2 sons, Donald Hall of Springfield, Colo., and Chester Hall of Liberal, Kansas, four sisters, and one brother. Also three grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by E. J. Meltzer, Jr., with interment at Rose Hill.
