Ethel “Shannon” McCarson, age 42 of Aragon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016.
Shannon was born September 23, 1973 in Rockmart, Georgia, daughter of Shirley Goss Williamson and the late John McCarson. She was a graduate of Rockmart High School and loved to dance. She enjoyed the sport of flying and had obtained her private pilot’s license.
Survivors include her mother and step-father, Shirley and Dell Williamson of Aragon; daughter, Gracie Shalom Mull of Rome; two sisters, Carolyn Byrd and Michelle McCarson both of Cartersville.
Memorial services for Shannon will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Owen (Bud) Davis, Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 23rd prior to the service from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m.
