Joan S. "Jo" Crockett, 72, of Crisfield, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born in Crisfield, she was a daughter of the late Ringgold ("Si") and Lucy Sterling. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and a former member of the Ladies of the Elks, both in Crisfield. She was a 1946 graduate of Crisfield High School.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lester M. Crockett, at home in Crisfield; a son, Lester M. Crockett Jr. and his wife, Dawn M., of Crisfield; a granddaughter, Dawn Leslie Crockett of Crisfield; a half-sister, Judy Weseman of Lewis; a step-mother, Otelia E. Sterling of Salisbury; several cousins and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held at Asbury United Methodist Church.
