Mabel was one of the last of 11 O'Hara children. She was always happy and really funny and often spoke with her Brooklyn accent. Her mother died when she was 16 and shortly after her father moved the family to Colorado. She always worked either as a cook for the school systems, in factories and at the end for the Hospital as a 'Grandmother" holding, loving and telling her thousands of stories to the children. She was truly loved!
