Mary Ellen McNutt, 94, of Auburn had her final prayer answered as she entered into the loving arms of her husband and sons on Wednesday April 6, 2015 at Lutheran Life Villages-Pine Valley.

Mary was born March 15, 1922 in Fremont, the daughter of the late Albert and Lola Rice.

Mary had worked at Rieke Packaging Systems for 26 years retiring in 1961.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Keith Shoda of Huntertown; daughters-in-law, Janet McNutt of Elkhart and Janet McNutt of Nacogdoches, Texas; brother, Don Rice of Bluefield, VA; sister, Barb Poffenberger of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George McNutt; sons, Donald and Jerry McNutt; brother, Max Rice; sister, Virginia Rice; companion of 14 years, Gene Troyer.

Funeral service will be held 1 p. m. Monday with visitation 2 hours prior at Pinnington-McComb Funeral & Cremation Services 502 N. Main Street, Auburn.

Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
