Graveside services for Bruce A. Bryant, 83, were held Thursday, April 7, at Pirtle Cemetery, Kilgore. Arrangements were under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Mr. Bryant passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Kilgore. He was born October 2, 1932 in Duncan, Oklahoma to the late Hyran Nolan and Mary Campbell Clark Bryant. He is a veteran of the US Marines and served in Korea. When he returned from Korea he received a degree from University of Oklahoma. He married Lynn Bryant who was a school teacher in Kilgore for 35 years. He has been a resident of East Texas for 35 years.

Besides his parents, Mr. Bryant was also preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Bass.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn Bryant, Kilgore; a son, Michael Bryant, Dickinson; a daughter, Patty Stevenson, Kilgore; a brother, Conrad Bryant, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Audrey Hammons, Timothy Bass, Michelle Stevenson, and Phillip Stevenson; nine great grandchildren, Chase, Gavin, Kenzington, Mattox, Viva, Charles, Stephanie, Zack, and Allyson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VFW Post 4002, 401 Ambassador Row, Longview, TX 75604
