MARY JOHNSON BURDEN
BRIGHAM CITY--Mrs. Mary
Johnson Burden, 59, died Wednes-
day at eight a. m. at the family
home, 619 South Third West. She
was born Feb. 4, 1884 in Smith-
field to Carl and Metta Andreason
Johnson. She was reared and edu-
cated at Smithfield and Clinton
and was married to George James
Burden, Dec. 22, 1903 at Logan.
The couple made their home for
five years in Ogden before coming
to Brigham City where Mrs. Burden
has resided since.
Surviving are the following sons
and daughters; Mrs. Rosa Rucker,
Collinston; Mrs. Dessie Hodges,
Klamath Falls, Ore.; George J.
Burden, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mary
Wells and John Burden, Willard;
Arthur and David Burden of U. S.
army, Mrs. Ruth Taggart, Brigham
City; also two sisters and a brother,
Chris Johnson of Smithfield, Mrs.
Josephine Hendrickson of Logan,
and Mrs. Seriana Hendrickson of
Newton.
The body is at the Harold B. Felt
funeral home in Brigham City.
