Jason Warren Waters, 24, of the Green Hill community, died Friday Jan. 14, 2005, as a result of an automobile accident.

A native of Rutherford County, he was a member of Southern Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, William and Earline Waters of Rutherfordton; his maternal grandmother, Mary Sanders of Roanoke Rapids; one brother, Andy Waters; and two sisters, Mary Leigh Waters of Rutherfordton, and Jackie Waters of Roanoke Rapids.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 17, at Southern Baptist Church. Rev. John Perry, Jr., will officiate. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service and burial will follow in the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday Jan. 16, at McMahan's Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
