Mrs. Linda Mitchell Harrington, 70, of 317 School Road, Hurt, VA went to be with her Lord at the Virgina Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg, VA.

She was was a daughter of the late George Edgar Mitchell and Katherine Dillard Mitchell.

She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church and a retired employee of Sky Tower Service.

She was the wife of the late Gregory David Harrington.

She is survived by four sons Ricky Perkins and his wife Lisa of Gretna, VA, Donald Perkins and his wife Dawn of Gretna, Mark Hutcherson and his fiancé Judy Wooldridge of Hurt and Jason Hutcherson and his wife Jenny of Winston-Salem, NC, a brother James Irwin Mitchell, Sr. and his wife Judy of Hurt, five grandchildren Brett and Zachary Perkins, Hannah, Allie and Lucy Hutcherson and three great- grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew and Leah Perkins.

Funeral services were conducted at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Altavista with the Reverend Bobby Brumfield officating.

Interment followed in Altavista Memorial Park.
