Shreveport, LA - Michael Thomas DuBois, age 29, passed away Sunday April 3, 2016 due to an automobile accident. He was born on January 23, 1987 in Shreveport, LA to Jerry Wayne DuBois, Jr. and Susan Elizabeth Strumski McDonald.

Michael was a good hard worker in construction. He spent the last six years with the "Love of His Life," Dedra! Michael was an avid Saints and LSU Fan and loved watching games with her! He had a deep love for his grandmothers, Glinda and Jean. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with his brothers no matter what they were doing. He also loved to fish and anything outdoors.

He is survived by his fiancé, Dedra Monds; grandparents, Jerry and Glinda DuBois, and Norma Jean Strumski; father Jerry W. DuBois, Jr. and wife Terrie; mother Susan McDonald and husband Mike; brothers Jeff DuBois and wife Christi, Brandon DuBois and fiancé Bobbie Guyton; step-brothers, Jimmie Dickey and wife Teri, Terry Dickey, and Shane Dickey and wife Kadi; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday April 8, 2016 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit, LA, with his dad and brothers serving as pallbearers. Pastor Larry Dean Sales of Martin United Pentecostal Church will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Aulds Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA.
