She was born March 21, 1927, in Greensburg, Ohio, to Talitha and Paul Weaver. She graduated from Greensburg High School and subsequently worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Akron. After marriage to her husband, Gerald, they moved to Alliance in 1946 and she became a wonderful homemaker and mother who was very active in First Immanuel United Church of Christ, where she headed or served on the kitchen committee for many years.
She moved to Sylvania in 2009 to be closer to family and became an active resident at her retirement home.
She was pre-deceased by her parents; brother, Paul II; and husband, Gerald, in 2005.
Survivors include daughter, Carol (Bill) Bookout of Clio, Michigan; son, Donald (Linda) Bingham of Sylvania, Ohio: neice, Janice Klypchak of Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tara Fish, Tanya Bookout and Bradley Bingham; and two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Kayla Fish.
Burial is private in Greensburg Cemetery.
