Adopted by Sallie and Peter after their daughter died of pnemonia which she caughtrunning barefoot in the middle of the night to warn her father of some impending danger. He was the sheriff of Putnam County.Peter was actually their grandson, his name was changed from Larmar Black to Peter Monroe Hagan upon adoption.
