Juanita M. (Reed) Wood-Reagan, age 78, of Sturgis, MI passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 12, 1937 in Cassopolis, MI a daughter to the late Roland and Frances (Kratzer) Reed.
Juanita has been a resident of Sturgis since 1950 and was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1955.
She had worked at Wise Lunch Main Café, Davids Dairy Bar, Transogram, GF Business Equipment, United Technologies, and retired from Ross Labs.
She was a member of the Sturgis Church of Christ and was a volunteer for 13 years with the Foster Grandparent Program.
Juanita enjoyed camping, cooking, gardening, and her two dogs Corky and Sissy.
Surviving are 3 children: Michael (Tammy) Wood, Debra (John) Hays, and Karen Blood all of Sturgis, MI; 1 son:; 5 grandchildren: Chad Wood, Robert Wood, Melissa Calvert, Christopher Blood, and Nicholas Blood; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Anna Jane Smith of Schoolcraft, MI; 1 brother: Roland Reed of Sturgis, MI and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Robert and Richard Reed and 2 sisters: Rosemary Hagabuch and Phyllis Peters.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon & 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Friday, at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091.
Services celebrating the life of Juanita M. Reagan will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, at the Sturgis Church of Christ with The Rev. George Cleverley, officiating. Interment will take place in White Pigeon Cemetery at a later date.
