She was first married to James Herschel Owens in Pineville, Ky. on Jun 16 1947 and he died May 5 1976. Her second marriage was to Roy O. Tays on Jan 23 1984 in Erie, MI and he died on Feb 2 1991. She is survived by two children, 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by three sons, a grandson and a brother.
