Mrs. Sue Anna Hood Miles, age 81, of Mt. Zion Road, Willisburg, passed away at 5:40 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at her home after an illness. She was born on April 25, 1934 to the late Samie and Edith Mae Curtsinger Hood. She was a member of the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy and a former employee of Fruit of the Loom.

Preceding her in death was her first husband, Joseph Lester Wethington, her second husband, James Patrick Miles; a daughter, Alice Marie Miles; a brother, Ancil Hood and three sisters, Mary Mae Hood, JoAnn Holt and Margaret Peters.

Survivors include: four daughters, Jenny Parkerson (Richie) of Bardstown, Angela Boblitt (Timmy) of Willisburg, Connie Spalding of Loretto and Patti Casey of Willisburg; two sons, Joe Wethington of Bloomfield and Terry Miles of Willisburg; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Chesser (Tolbert) of Willisburg; and a brother, Charles Hood (Bona) of Chaplin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9th at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Keith Creech, the church pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Brush Grove Cemetery. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Friday at the Willisburg Church Of God Of Prophecy. Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Boblitt, Jonathon Boblitt, Tyler Miles, Stephen Jewell, Josh Wethington and Kyle Moore. The Carey & Son Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
