David A. Schilling, 54, of West Manchester, OH, passed into eternity suddenly early Monday morning, April 4, 2016 at his home. Born May 29, 1961, he was a son of Richard & Marjorie (Gantt) Schilling. He formerly worked at Henwood Feeds and Smith Dairy; and most recently at Lewisburg Container. David loved to play and watch baseball and collected baseball cards. He was a fan of competitive arm wrestling, enjoyed fishing and boating and dinner at the Milton Club in Dayton. He was a member of the First Brethren Church in Gratis, OH and had attended Go Ministries in West Manchester. Preceded in death by father Richard Schilling in 1979 and step father Robert DeGarmo in 2006.

David was a person who made friends easily and loved everybody. He will always be remembered in the hearts of all who knew him and loved him. Survived by son Jordan Schilling & wife Tara of Lewisburg: mother Marjorie DeGarmo of West Manchester; sisters and brothers Barbara Bourne & husband Rob of Eaton; William R. Schilling & wife Barbara of Brookville, OH; Brenda Caudill & husband Dan of Greenville; Billy J. Schilling & wife Sherrie of West Manchester: and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Brother Bill Mitchell presiding.
