She was born May 26, 1934, to George McDonald and Dorothy Gertrude (Nelson) Lockhart.
Barbara married Joseph L. Roe, December 18, 1965.
She was a bookkeeper for most of her life. Barbara was a member of Huffman memorial United Methodist Church and the St. Joseph Fire Fighter's Auxiliary. She was active in her church and sang in the choir. She participated in mission trips serving in El Salvador, Guatemala, Poland, and Venezuela.
She was preceded in death by her husband and he parents.
Survivors: one brother, Richard Lockhart; daughter, Jeannette Holland (David); son, Thomas Roe (Gayle); daughter, Barbara Becktell (Michael); son, Paul Roe (Elizabeth); daughter, Susan Seek (Karl); 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
