Eva Mae Atkinson, age 88, of Athelstane, WI passed away peacefully Saturday April 2, 2016, at Rennes Health Center-East. She was born in Aurora, Illinois on May 15, 1927; daughter of the late Lloyd and Clara (Lee) Willis.

Eva was united in marriage to Donald Atkinson in Aurora, IL on January 30, 1947.
They moved to Athelstane in 1953. Eva worked at the Wausaukee Club for 18 years. She loved spending time with her daughter Mel.
She was a lifelong member of the Athelstane Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, Duke, in her garden, and most importantly with her family, especially her grandchildren. Eva had a good heart and always thought about others before herself.

Eva is survived by three daughters: Melody (Chuck) Wutkowski of Peshtigo, WI; Holly (Jerry) Meeks of Freeport, TX and Cheryl (Greg) Kay of Leland, IL;
20 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren;
and a brother, James Willis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don who died August of 1998; grandsons: Nick and Corby Meeks; and great grandson, Brian Meeks.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday April 9, 2016, at Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee with Pastor Lin Wittmann officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery in Athelstane.
