She grew up in this area and was employed as a CNA in the home health care field. Rachael enjoyed being in the mountains, especially camping and fishing. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Martinez; daughters, Ashley, Jasmine and Sierra; her parents, Cheryl (Crow-moon) Tapia and Mike (Kendra) Walters; brother, Aaron (Tiffany) Walters; sister, Heather (Brandon) Walters; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, at the First Baptist Church in Westcliffe, followed by graveside services beginning at 1 p.m. in the Ula Cemetery.
