BIRTH AND PARENTS
Edwin (Ed) Alexander Borg was born on January 11, 1904, in Ludington, Michigan. His father was Herman Andersson Borg and his mother was Amand Charlotta Alexandersdotter Hassel. According to the 1920 Census, his parents were from Finland and Swedish speakers.
MARRIAGE AND OCCUPATIONS AND FAMILY
Ed married Ethel Bishop in a Luteran church on August 10, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan. At that time he reported that he was a letter cutter. Soon after, he reported that he was a metal engraver. In 1952 he was a die craftsman in Grand Prairie, Texas. He worked at Roy M Fellers Company in both Michigan and Texas. Ed and Ethel had one daughter, Audrey, together.
RELIGION
During his residence in Texas, he was a Deacon in a Baptist church.
DEATH
Ed's siblings died in midwestern states and in Florida. Edwin Alexander Borg died at home on March 19, 1992, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 88, according to his Obituary. A Texas death record reported that he did not die in Dallas, but in Tarrant County.
BURIAL
Ed Alexander Borg was buried in Arlington, Texas. His wife was later buried alongside him. Ethel was almost, but not quite, 100 years old when she passed away.
