Baptist. Member, Rotary; Newcomen Society; Phi Delta Theta; Alpha Kappa Psi. Killed in an automobile accident on I-10, in Suwannee County, Fla., May 22, 2006 (age 89 years, 72 days). Interment at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
