Christopher Alan Pace 43 passed away Saturday March 12, 2016 in Springfield. Chris was born at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska on January 3, 1973.

He was a graduate of Fordland High School in 1991, where he was an active member of the marching band. Chris's passion for music extended into his adult life as the drummer for Lovable Java Hen, What's Next, and Eddie's Blues Train, as well as several other bands.

He was employed at Detroit Electric where he enjoyed making wiring harnesses. Chris loved old trucks, all types of auto racing, as well as exploring the outdoors and enjoying nature, however his greatest love was spending time with his children.

He is survived by his parents Larry and Patricia "Bailey" Pace of Fordland, his daughter Heather Pace and son August Pace of Fort Hood, TX. his brother Michael Pace and wife Lori of Rogersville, nephew Dempsey Pace of Prescott, AZ. family friends Dennis Lane and wife Jody of Fordland, grandmother Wilma Hellyer of Springfield, close friend Trish Kelley and her daughters Breanna and Serenity of Springfield and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents Doyle and Eleanor Bailey, Junior and Jessie Pace and nephew William Pace.

Services will be held Saturday March 19, 2016 at the Preston-Marsh Funeral Home Rogersville. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund has been set up for his children Heather and August Pace at Home Pride Bank in Fordland, Mo.
