Lisbon, Ohio - Randy D. McKay, 61, of Cream Ridge Road, passed away 2:50 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at his residence.
Randy was born March 4, 1955 in Brookville, PA, a son of Janet Smith McKay and the late Ray Dean McKay and had resided in the East Palestine area before moving to Lisbon. He had been employed in the family business, McKay and Gould Drilling for most of his life, primarily as a drill operator.
Mr. McKay was a member of the Lake Mount Church of Christ, New Waterford, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 1506.
Besides his mother, Janet McKay Smith of East Palestine, he is survived by his wife, the former Jackie A. Kay, whom he married January 15, 1994. He also leaves two daughters, Samantha M. Johnson, Chicago, IL and Haley S. McKay, North Carolina; and two step-sons, Jerimy J. Anderson and Jason T. Anderson, both of East Palestine. Two brothers, Roger L. McKay and Ronald A. McKay also survive him, as do four grandchildren.
A brother, Stanley R. McKay had preceded him in death.
Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford.
