John M. McCubbin, 79, was found dead at his home in the Gabe Community, Tues. 7 Jan. [1964] A retired farmer, he had lived in Green Co. most of his life. Survivors are 2 brothers, Less McCubbin, Clinton, Ill. And O.L. McCubbin, Canyon City, Co. Services were held at 2:00 pm Sun. 12 Jan at the Foster-Jones Funeral Home with Rev. V.A. Jones officiating. Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cem., Larue Co. Pallbearers were Elmer McCubbin, Loren McCubbin, Cleston McCubbin, Delmer McCubbin, Grady McCubbin and Roy Mabe.
