DARDANELLE — Jimmy Kenneth Cross Sr., age 78, of Dardanelle died Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home.
He was born April 3, 1937, at Atkins to the late William Fletcher Washington and Bessie Lee Deal Cross. He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. Jimmy loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; ten siblings and one great grandson.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ruby Hunt Cross of Dardanelle; three children, Jimmy Cross Jr., Rick Cross and wife Stephney and Carl Cross and wife Frances all of Dardanelle; two brothers, Donald Cross of Atkins and Chester Cross of Russellville; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the chapel.
