Sandy was born in Portland, Oregon and passed away in Clovis, California.
Sandy was the President of Ty Steel Inc., but for fun she loved doing cross stitch, crossword puzzles, bowling and golf.
She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Stone.
She is survived by her loving husband, Loyd Mathews of Clovis; two sons, Jeff Mathews and his wife Joelle of Clovis, and Ty Mathews and his wife Tina of Sanger; her daughter, Roseanne Tennis and her husband Greg of Mississippi; her mother, Anna Davis of Medford, Oregon; sister, Bernadine Herndon and her husband Jack of Colorado; and her brother, Charlie Davis and his wife Betty of Oregon. Sandy also leaves her long time friend, Sharon Dopher. Sandy will be missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be at Boice Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be at Clovis Cemetery on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at 11:00 a.m.
