Keith O. Robison, 83, beloved husband, father and grandfather, returned to his Heavenly Father early Christmas morning after a struggle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
He was the second son of C. Lester Robison and Mary E. Ostergaard. He was born June 15, 1917 in Monroe, Utah. He married Viola LaRaine Flynn, March 22, 1939. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
They have four children: Charlotte L. Knaphus (Norman), Keith L. Robison (deceased), Gary L. Robison (Peggy), Kenny R. Robison (Mary), all of Salt Lake City, UT. They have 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grand-children. He loved his family dearly.
He was a High Priest in the Valley View 8th Ward. He also served a Stake Mission for over four years. He spent 61 years in the roofing industry and was the president, owner and operator of Southeast Roofing Services, Inc. for 55 years. He was known as an honest, hardworking man. He always did the best job possible for everyone. He taught many young men how to work hard, including his own sons and son-in-law. Keith was also president of Wasatch Photographic Inc. for the past 29 years.
He is survived by his two brothers: Charles D. Robison of Vernal, UT and Gene L. Robison (Norene) of Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by one son, Keith L. Robison; one granddaughter, Belinda L. Knaphus; parents; sister, Mildred Polteno and brother, Lamont S. Robison.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2000 at 12 noon at Valley View 8th Ward, 4032 S 2300 E. Friends may call on Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive and on Friday 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church, prior to services.
Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
