SERVICES: 2:00 PM Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with Monty Joiner, minister of the Wells Street Church of Christ of Pampa, officiating. A private burial will follow under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Rush was born June 21, 1942 in Beaver County, Oklahoma. He married Anita Triggs on November 14, 1970 in Pampa. Jerry had been a resident of Amarillo since 1971. As a carpenter, he and his brother built homes for over 20 years. He served as president of the Panhandle Area Wood Turners and served as a director for S.W.A.T.--Southwest Area Wood Turners. He will be remembered as a great and loving person.SURVIVORS: Wife: Anita Rush of the home; 2 daughters: Debbie Rush Walker and husband Marcus, and Angela Ritter and husband William of Rosharon; 1 brother: Travis Rush and wife Sue of Masterson; 1 sister: Roe Jean Dixon of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
