He had reached the age of 54 years and was well known in this vicinity where he was born and grew to manhood. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Bishop who were residents of this vicinity all their lives.
He leaves one son and one brother, Wilmer of Green Bay. His wife and one son passed away a few years ago.
He was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus and his council attended the funeral in a body. The remains were brought to Askeaton for burial.
