Freddie Cowart, a resident of Baton Rouge, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on June 26, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at the age of 87. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Geraldine "Jerri" Cowart, two grandchildren; Amber Morris and Chad Cowart and wife Linda, four great grandchildren; Landon, Holden, Chelsea and Carson Morris. She is preceded in death by her husband, E.A. "Tot" Cowart and son, Charles R. Cowart. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and chapel service at 12 p.m. Burial will take place in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
