Obituary for

LaMonica NaMaria Ware, 34, of Nanticoke, Maryland, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Born Sept. 24, 1981, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of Edward Melvin Ware, Sr., of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Cynthia Ann Doleman Ware, and fiancé John W. Bass, Jr,(who Monica affectionately called "Pop") also of Nanticoke, Maryland.
LaMonica was a wonderful mother, daughter, and sister. She had an outgoing, bubbly personality. She loved good jokes and being with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her 2 sons: Xzavion Cotton, father Darnell Cotton, and Nazir Strand, father RaShaw Strand, daughter, Emoni Ballard, father Eric Ballard, 4 brothers: Edward Ware, Jr. and Tyler Ware, both of Hagerstown, John Bass, III, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, and Troy Dugger, II of Nanticoke, Maryland; 5 sisters: Jasmine Lewis, of Princess Anne, Maryland, Nicole Ware, Nikki Broadus, and Christine Jenkins, all of Hagerstown, Maryland, and Tiffany Johnson, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; maternal grandmother, Ruth Doleman, of Quantico, Maryland; special aunt, Sylvia Maddox, and husband Robert, of Salisbury, Maryland; special uncle, Robert Doleman, Jr., of Quantico, Maryland; very special cousins/ brothers, Lionel and Jamar Goeins, of Salisbury, Maryland; special nephew, Jordan Quinones, of Princess Anne, Maryland, and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Robert L. Doleman, Sr. and cousin, Anthony Scott Cook.
On Saturday, April 9, 2016 there will be a final viewing at 11 a.m. with a Home going celebration to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Prosperity Baptist Church, located at 194 Jamestown Road, Summit Point, WV 25446, with the Rev. Robert Jackson officiating. She will be laid to rest at the family burial grounds beside the church. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Miracle Deliverance Tabernacle, 701 Ocean Hwy. Pocomoke City, Maryland 21851, with Pastor Kathleen Moore officiating.
