Roger Craig Daniels, 53, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, following a valiant fight with cancer. Craig was a gift from God, born October 23, 1961, in Midland, Michigan. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor's degree in business administration, and worked for Liquid Environmental Solutions, Inc. of Irving. Craig was an excellent athlete, and excelled in both baseball and golf. He remained an avid fan of both games, and on most days could be found rooting for "his" Rangers and Cowboys. He was a self-taught gourmet cook, and loved nothing more than planning and preparing a meal for his children, especially on their annual vacations to the beach. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Powell Smith; and grandparents, Henry and Murvel Daniels. He was survived by his children, Bryan Craig Daniels and Sarah Elizabeth Daniels, both of Fort Worth; his parents, Roger and Judith Daniels of Katy; brother, Phillip (Vicki) Daniels of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and their children, Emily and Grant; and his beloved grandmother, Ardith Smith of Houston. Services were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Keller, followed with burial at Bourland Cemetery in Keller.
