Published in The Paducah Sun (McCracken Co., KY), Saturday, January 29, 1994 - HICKMAN, Ky. - Doris McKenzie, 74, of Hickman, died Thursday at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
A native of McEwen, Tenn., Mrs. McKenzie was the widow of Lonnie McKenzie and a member of East Hickman Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Jimmy McKenzie of Troy, Tenn.; six daughters, Liz Wright of Hickman, Ann Jones of Cayce, Jo Edwards, Wanda Grooms, Gloria Crittenden and Jean Evans, all of Union City, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Her parents were Ilie and Lillie Butler Jackson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Strong and Cryer Funeral Home in Hickman. The Revs. Don Wann, Henry Callison and Billy Uzzle will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman City Cemetery.
