Katie Arnold, age 27, passed unexpectedly on March 25, 2016 in Sacramento due to complications from a rare autoimmune disease. She is survived by her loving husband Matt Arnold and their young daughters Ava Grace and Sophia Marie. Her mother Cheri Gaudern, father Scott Gillies and sister Jessica Gillies are saddened that her life was shorter than expected, but so glad to have been part of it. Katie also leaves her maternal grandparents; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and dogs Remie and Lola. Katie graduated from Rio Americano High School. She worked for Massage Envy for several years, rising from receptionist to manager. Recently she was happy being a stay-at-home mom to Ava and Sophie. Katie loved being with friends and family, shopping, preparing fancy food, home decorating, and the beach at Lake Tahoe. She will be forever missed. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church, 11427 Fair Oaks Blvd., Fair Oaks, CA. 95628. A lunch reception will follow.
