Church Hill- Lora R. Long, 89 passed away Sunday Evening (July 14, 2002) at Church Hill Health Care after an extended illness.
She was a member of North Fork Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ransy and Elizabeth Smith Long; five brothers, Sterlie, Dorsie, Reasor, Hobart Long, all of Church Hill, and James William Long of Kingsport; one sister Elsie Long of Church Hill.
Never married.
Surviving are her brother and sister in law, Kyle and Loverl Long of Church Hill; two sisters in law, Vivian Long of Church Hill and Stella Long of Kingsport; two nephews, Keith Long and Shelby Long, both of Church Hill; one niece, Linda Miller of Kingsport; two great-nieces, Pam Long of Kingsport and Jennifer Long of Church Hill; one great-nephew, Michael Long of Kingsport.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Colboch Price Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at North Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Hubert Drinnon and the Rev. Alan Payne officiating.
The body will lie in state from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the services. Interment will be in the North Fork Cemetery.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the North Fork Cemetery Fund, c/o Myrlie Cradic, 420 W. Main Blvd., Church Hill, Tenn. 37642 for the upkeep of the cemetery.
