Savannah- Glynn Alan Hendricks, 73, passed away Monday, April 04, 2016 at his home under the care of Hospice.

Glynn was born in Savannah and a 1960 graduate of H.V. Jenkins High School. He worked with Center Brothers for 29 years and in 1992 he started his own business, Hendricks Interiors. He served in the National Guard, was a member of Masonic Lodge, Ancient Landmark #231, Alee Temple Shrine, Oriental Band, and the Savannah Scottish Rite. Glynn was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to “The Shack” at Hendricks Farm. His parents, Rufus and Beulah Hendricks preceded him in death.

Surviving is his wife, Glenda Hendricks; sons, Les Hendricks, Brian Collier; daughter, Lisa Felts; five grandchildren and Aunt Leila Norton.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Barry Luskey and staff and Hospice Savannah for the wonderful care provided.

The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks. Serving as active pallbearers will be Mike Jones, John Sexton, Donnie Harrell, Raymond Cobb, Tommy Norton and Randy Moss. Chris Morse and Louie Poole will serve as honorary pallbearers. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Cemetery in Metter.
