MRS. ELLA SAYRE DIES

St. Charles--(Special)--April 29.--

Relatives here received a message last Wednesday evening announcing the death of Mrs. Ella Pomeroy Sayre at her home in Mullensville, Kan., her death resulting from cancer. She grew to womanhood and was married to M. F. Sayre at the old Pomeroy homestead now owned by Robert Scrivner, four miles west of St. Charles. She is survived by two sons, Laurel and Bernal and four grandchildren, all of Kansas. Her brother, E. E. Pomeroy of St. Charles, and a sister, Mrs. Daisy Hill of Des Moines left Wednesday evening to attend the funeral service which was held in Mullensville Friday afternoon.
