Pat Joy Holland, 72, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m, Monday, Oct. 9, in Rosemound Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

Pat was born in Bryan, Texas, to the late Henry Augusta Grelen and Mary Louise Grelen. She graduated with a nursing degree from Hillcrest Hospital. Pat worked at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, Providence Medical Center, and Sante Fe Hospital of Temple. She was a member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Waco and a member of the Walter Baldwin O.E.S. #929. She was a loving mother, grandmother and had a passion for angels and roses.

She was preceded in death by her brother, H. E. "Hap" Grelen; and sister, Nina Bonner.

Survivors include her sons, Rick E. Holland and wife, Ginger, of Temple, and Michael L Holland and wife, Christine, of Houston; granddaughters, Briana Holland and Ashley Dillon; brother, Don Grelen and wife, Hettie, of Bryan; sister-in-law, Jimmie Grelen, of Mexia; and a very special friend and caregiver, Kathy Lee.
