Visitation will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapel.
The funeral service will be held on April 9, 2016 at Life Church of the Assemblies of God. Reverend Terry Richardson and Reverend Elbert Smart will be officiating. Burial procession will follow at Mission Park North Cemetery.
Vanonia "Nonie" met her husband Marvin Arthur Aschenbeck in Port Lavaca, Texas. They married May 27, 1954. They later moved to San Antonio, Texas. Nonie loved bird watching, gardening, camping, attending church and socializing with friends. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with friends. She worked at Valley Hi Assembly of God Day Care Center for 25 years. Her heart's joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They called her Mammaw.
She is survived by her husband Marvin Aschenbeck; her children, Sharlotte Keiser and her husband Christopher Keiser, Carolyn Eubank, and Mark Aschenbeck and his wife Linda Aschenbeck. Her daughter, LaVonne Aschenbeck, preceded her to meet our Lord at the age of 9 months in 1964. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Tara Snowden, Kimberly Taylor, Jeffrey Eubank, Bryan Eubank, Kylie Aschenbeck, Connor Aschenbeck, Nichole Keiser, and Kyle Keiser. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
