Mrs. Gretchen Hussmann Butler, 64, of 701 Mayflower Drive, died Wednesday in a Bristol Conn. hospital. She was in Bristol visiting relatives when she became ill. She was a retired registered nurse, last working at Charleston Memorial Hospital and was a member of Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral and the West Virginia Nurses Assn. Surviving: husband, William G.; son, Lt. (j.g.) Sean W. Butler, with the Navy in Honolulu, Hawaii; daughter, Mrs. Gerri Cline of Hempstead, N.Y.; sisters, Mrs. Mary Cerniglia of Bristol, Conn., Mrs. Evelyn Flynn of Unionville, Conn.; brother, Herman Hussmann of Bristol, Conn. Friends may call Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home.
