Eric Marquis Tyler, 27, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016. He was born September 22, 1988 in Nash County. Eric was a loving father, son, and brother who will be missed dearly. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Lt. Col. James Batts and paternal grandparents, W.R. and Doris Tyler.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Cindy Tyler; father, Mark Tyler and wife Brenda; one brother, Evan Tyler; maternal grandmother, Clara “Foxy” Batts; two daughters, Madison and Lainey Tyler; one son, Jackson Tyler and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Eric will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church of Rocky Mount. Family will visit with family and friends immediately following the service.
