Sweetwater - Funeral for Mrs. E. J. Woodward, 65, of Sweetwater, mother of Mrs. Smith Bell of Brownwood, will be held Thursday at the Fourth and Elm Street Church of Christ in Sweetwater.
Mrs. Woodward died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday in an Abilene hospital.
Born March 28, 1902 in Erath County, she was a teacher in the Sweetwater Public School system.
Other survivors besides Mrs. Bell are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Faver of Sweetwater; her mother, Mrs. Carrie Murray of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Clendon Miller of Lubbock and Mrs. Doss Beauchamp of Fort Worth; five brothers, W. A. of San Antonio, A. W. of Corpus Christi, R. C. and George of Fort Worth and Frank Murray of Hobbs, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
