Roscoe - Funeral for Charles A. Tabb, 87, retired railroad man, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lewis Markwood, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Roscoe Cemetery.
Mr. Tabb died at Morris Nursing Home at 11:30 p.m. Monday. He had been a resident there for two years.
Born in Mount Pleasant on Sept. 23, 1879, [sic] he had lived in Roscoe the past ten years. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He married Maude Weaver in Cason in 1919. She died in 1938.
Survivors include two sons, James A. of Odessa and Roy L. of Jal, N.M.; and five grandchildren.
