Roscoe, June 20 - Funeral for Turner Snyder, 46, Roscoe man who died here Saturday night as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident, was to be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Roscoe Church of Christ. David L. Desha, minister, was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. G. W. Parks. Burial was to be in Roscoe Cemetery under direction of Wells Funeral Home.
Mr. Snyder was injured in a highway accident which occurred between Roscoe and Hermleigh Friday morning.
He was born July 28, 1902 in Taylor County and had lived in Roscoe since 1916. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Amanda Snyder of Roscoe; one son, Forrest Snyder of Sweetwater; five brothers, Homer Snyder, Lewis Snyder and Joe Snyder, all of Roscoe, David Snyder of Sweetwater and Othel Snyder of Loraine; three sisters, Mrs. Tom Turk of Sweetwater, Mrs. T. E. Autrey of Sheffield and Mrs. Cecil Britton of Fort Belfort, Va.; and one grandson.
Pallbearers were to be Leonard Hagger, R. G. Windham, R. D. Pietsch, M. D. Jones, R. E. Broadwell, John Ray, Gene Rayburn and Glenn Browning, all members of the Roscoe American Legion Post.
