Bob F. Martin, 84 of San Rafael, New Mexico Passed on March 23, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Bob was born in Winchester, Illinois to his parents John B. Martin and Leona Belle Crain on September 26, 1931.
Bob worked for Owens Illinois Glass in Alton, Illinois before moving to New Mexico in 1959, where he went to work for Kerr McGee for 26 years. When he retired and later went to work for Lee Ranch Coal Mine for 14 years. Bob served 2 years in the Korean War from 1951-1953 in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years. His children and Grandchildren.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents- John B. and Leona Martin. One brother- Billy Martin. And one sister- Sandra S. Mills.
Interment at Grants Memorial Park. VFW Post 3221 will provide military honors.
