Sarah absolutely enjoyed arranging her flowers and tending to her extensive garden. She was especially fond of the arts and sciences, which it was common to find her attending a paleontology meeting or practicing her woodcarving. She thoroughly loved the outdoors and horse riding as well. Sarah believed, you can never stop learning and as such she could still be found attending classes at the University of Kentucky, while working at the Kentucky Clinic. She was a dedicated employee at the Kentucky Clinic for almost 40 years. Sarah graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
Sarah married the love of her life Jack Lambert, more than 38 years ago. They met in Sunday school at Hill N Dale Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky. Both Sarah and Jack made their walk in life together with a strong devotion to our Lord and raised their children in the Southland Christian Church Community. At the time of Sarah’s passing, they were members of Saint John’s Lutheran Church.
Sarah is survived by her husband, John (Jack) Lewis Lambert, and her daughter, Leah (Elaine) Lambert Crupper, and her son Eric Olen Lambert. She also leaves behind nine granddaughters and three grandsons.
Burial will be in Camp Nelson Cemetery, Jessamine County, Kentucky.
