Services for James W. "Buck" Lippert, 73, of 9023 Aiken Road in PeeWee Valley, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel. He died at home 4 p.m. Saturday following a brief illness. Burial is in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A native of Woodford County, he was retired from the Central State Hospital maintenance department and a member of the Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. Survivor include his wife, Mrs. Virginia Mae Wynn Lippert; two daughters, Barbara Lois Moore, Frankfort and Virginia Louise Bolin, Louisville; two brothers, Freddie Lippert and Clarence Lippert, both of Woodford County; one sister Mrs. Rich Shoemaker, Woodford County; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was the son of the late John Frederick and Jane Manley Lippert. Dr. Herman Bowers will officiate.

FRANKFORT - James "Buck" W. Lippert, 73, of PeeWee, Valley, a retired Central State Hospital maintenance department employee and husband of Virginia Mae Lippert, died Saturday at his home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today.
