Carolyn Ann (Murphy) Hoffman, 75, passed away peacefully Monday evening June 23, 2014 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 26, 1938 in Louisville to Eugene and Pearl (Pence) Murphy.

Carolyn was a retired inspector for Enro Shirt Co., and a Homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving Husband of 24 years, Norman W. Hoffman; a son, Kevin Hoffman; her parents; two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her children, Theresa Smith (David), Kathy Ruark, Valarie Giovenco (Todd), and Keith Hoffman (Jessica); eight grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Caroline, Natalie, Nolan, Samantha, Gabrielle and Maya; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Murphy (Mary)

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Thursday, 2-8 p.m.
