She was born on September 19, 1963 in Brookings, South Dakota, the daughter of Curtis and Margaret (Dennis) Bentz.
Dee Ann embodied a spirit rising from South Dakota origins, enriched by childhood years in Boulder, CO, Frankfurt, Germany, and Columbia, SC.
She met her husband, Duane Webb after graduating from National College in Rapid City, SD and they moved to Washington State in 1991, and have lived for many years and raised their precious daughter, Taylor Eileen Webb, in the Anacortes community.
Dee Ann loved cruises, beaches and campfires. She was an 80’s music fan, particularly the band Def Leopard. She was an animal lover, cross-stitcher, flower grower, darts player, collector, vacation planner and Disneyland enthusiast.
Dee Ann was a sweet daughter, wife, mother friend and career girl. She had a beautiful infectious smile that naturally drew people to her. Dee Ann viewed life with humor and an eye toward the bright side. She will always be loved and missed.
Dee Ann is survived by her husband, Duane; daughter, Taylor; mother, Margaret Dennis, of Victoria, BC; father, Curtis Bentz, of Rapid City, SD; siblings: Scott Bentz, of Sioux Falls, SD, Teresa Bentz Brown, of Atlanta, GA, Kimberly Bentz Smith, of Richmond, VA and Sherrie Pope, of Boise, ID.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Evans Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Evans Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Grand View Cemetery in Anacortes.
