There are several Civil War records on Ancestry, including a widow's pension granted July 16, 1914 for Rebecca. The pension record shows service in Co. D, 13th Kansas Infantry and also Co. H, 19 Kansas Cavalry.
Robert & Rebecca Jenkins were in Iowa Township, Doniphan County, Kansas from 1875 to 1910. In 1875 their children were Rosey, 7, & Samuel, 1. By 1895, their children were Edward, 18; William, 17; Annie, 14; Dollie, 13; Joseph, 8; & John, 5. This census also records Robert's Civil War service.
